Hi, I've tried to install Windows 8.1 RTM x86 en-US from official ISO image from Microsoft on my Iconia W510 (created bootable flash drive), the installation worked, but the problem is lot of drivers is missing/not found after the initial installation. I've tried to apply the latest driver pack from Acer
This solution is for ICONIA W510. But you can apply to another windows tablet that use Atom z2670 (Or other I can't comfirm must try for your own risk). I add W510 Drivers to this image you can use your docking. If you don't have docking you can use USB Hub for more usb port to use with USB Flashdrive, USB Keyboard, USB Mouse.
The Iconia W700’s hardware features are top-notch. The $999, W700-6465 configuration we tested is powered by an Intel Core i5-3317U, 4GB of system memory, and a Toshiba 128GB SSD. Knock off $100
First, look at your task bar options, look at Notification for Windows Explorer and choose Active icon & notification. If it doesn't work, connect your USB drive with your micro USB adapter on the tablet. If it works, you maybe have a hardware problem on your dock ("maybe" means "not sure" ) If it doesn't work with micro USB, reinstall drivers. The few interfaces of Acer's Iconia W700 are clearly arranged. A socket for the included 65 W AC power supply is found on the display's left. A USB 3.0 and micro-HDMI port are installed above that

It did remove the BIOS password on my W510. I also have this Acer Iconia w510 that has become useless to me. The windows password was tampered with so I could not login.
